birthday request (7/7/2026)

My birthday's coming up again, and I thought I'd make another request! If you've got a AU for your XIV characters, I'd love to see a photo of it!(open to everyone, vanilla gposers and screenshot mods alike!)

Starting on my birthday (7/7/2026) and going for the rest of the month of July, screenshot something in your AU (characters, a scene, whatever you can) and post it up with the tag #ffxiv-au! I'd love to see what everyone else has!

Happy (Belated) Nameday @scrollsfromarebornrealm!

I went for a Fairytale AU - having been suitably inspired by the fantastic sketch by @sayonaramidnight here.

It was quite tricky to sort out an outfit for Humble's scene at the Palace Ball - initially I went for an Ishgardian vibe, complete with thighboots, which looked very nice, but then I realised that he'd need to lose a slipper when running out at mightnight and it's really quite hard to accidentally lose a thighboot. So he ended up with a more Corvosian look, which will hopefully be enough to catch the eye of a certain Miqo'te Prince...

They also aren't glass slippers, partly because that's quite hard to achieve in vanilla gpose and partly because, at over 700lbs, Humble would be risking a nasty injury tottering about on glass shoes!

So happy belated nameday @scrollsfromarebornrealm and thank you for the inspiration to @sayonaramidnight.

Unfortunately, I haven't really had the time to develop an AU all my own (unless you count the work I've done in the Eorzea Academy AU, but that's Square's AU) but I was super fortunate that @feistierermine allowed me to play around in their vampire AU!

I'm coming in with this a bit late, so your special day is probably already one for the history books, but I hope it was filled with a lot of fun and lots of fun AU tales!

For @scrollsfromarebornrealm ‘s birthday, here’s my boy Rai’s AU. He joined the Ironworks instead of the Scions, but despite his best efforts the plot keeps dragging him away from his job as a magitek engineer.

I hope the day finds you well and this AU entertains you, though it may be a simple one.

It's a role swap of one of WOLs Sana and her sister Inam.

In the original time line, she works at their Grandmother's shop in the Silver Bazaar and only joins the Scions in Shadowbringers. She's a pacifist who can't summon a Carbuncle but has an excellent head for math. Inam finds her place helping both Tataru and Krile. With a little intel work on the side.

In a Warrior of Light time line she is instead forced to find a balance between peace and combat. While Inam still can't summon a Carbuncle, she makes for a fantastic Red Mage and in time befriends both Alisaie and Lyse. She is still friends with Tataru. That is a constant.
