Nyx survives AU
A/N: This took awhile for me to decide how to resume it. Haha. Honestly there were three or four ways I had planned to write this chapter but I decided that with how I wrote the prequel and how I plan this to be comrades that this way may be a safebet lolol. Life is still keeping me busy sadly but I have some Hcs that I’m working out to see if they are fine or not lol. I wrote them before bed so I for sure need to work some of them out. Well thank you for reading this and the prequel! Have a great day/night. I love yooouu~
P.S.: There is not a lot of Nyx au stuff and that confuses me lol. Literally one of the biggest FFXV gripes is Nyx’s death but there isn’t really anything? Fandom what are you doing!? I am confusion! XD

Chapter 1-
It was peaceful. At first he was alone but eventually nameless people joined him. They would drink and tell stories of homes whose names were never mentioned and toast a kingdom and young king that’s name felt like it was on the tip of his tongue.
The peace was disturbed though when different voices seemed to lurk around his conversations with his friends. He was left bemused by the fact and by the much more notable fact that they didn’t hear the voices. He felt that he only recently met this peace so he was conflicted. What risks would come if he were to listen to these strange voices? What would come if he listened to them over his nameless friends.
Nameless… the work makes a knot form in his throat. Maybe there is something wrong here.
He decided that it was time for him to listen.
At first all he heard were garbled mutters until they became partially coherent sentences. There were whispers of a man possibly losing a leg then, other whispers about how by some miracle the man’s leg could be saved, mentions of an organ transplant that went well and just a whole array of things. It exhausted Nyx to no end but the world around him was fading so while it gave him at least some freight he felt that it may be best.
He listened and listened more until something unlike the others echoed.
“Look I will have to leave soon…” The new voice said as he felt a new pressure in his hand and turned his gaze to his palm, interested in the new feeling. “I need you to prove that you can wake up soon. They say one movement and you can be transferred to a different hospital and I can still watch out for you.”
He waited for more but there was nothing so he looked over his shoulder to look at his friends but they were gone. There was absolutely nothing- no chatter, no laughter, no light. Terror striked him in the heart. He didn’t want to be alone and the lack of noise had him shaken up.
He called out. He needed to know where everyone went. Everyone was just gone.
He felt the pressure in his hand shift. He didn’t want to lose this too so he closed his hand into a tight fist in hopes of keeping the pressure in place. It’s when a chuckle resonates that he felt himself calm and somehow tense up at the same time.
“I knew you were too stubborn for that. I’ll see what I can do.”
