RAF F-4 Phantom FGR.2 of 56 Squadron
Probably at RAF Stanley. Short runway, cable engagements saved brake wear.

A gorgeous view of a Phantom FGR.2 from No. 29 Squadron over Coningsby, England (Circa July 1985). Did you know that the UK was F-4’s first export customer? The jet entered RAF service in 1969 and remained a frontline fighter until 1991.
Btw, notice the F-104 on the apron?
