I first heard Framing Hanley on the radio. It was the rock version of lil Wayne's Lollipop. At first I didn't know who they were, but I loved the song, I wanted to know who they were. I listened for the song again and found out the bands name. I started looking up their music and immediately I fell in love with every song. I found out they were coming to the machine shop on flint and went. Best show I've ever seen/been to that I knew all the songs and was so excited to see what was next. My family and I ended up moving and when they came back to flint I had back surgery 5 days before and I was very sad and upset that I was going to miss that show. Since they have been coming to flint that was the only show I have missed. After the shows we were able to meet them and they were all so humble, they made sure they were able to meet everyone there. By time their second CD came out I decided to get lyrics from their song "Fool with Dreams" tattooed on my arm. "If your hearts a pocket looking for some change, my heart makes lots of sense". I loved that lyric because it just spoke to me, and after all I've been through with all the surgeries, it just makes me feel like I know I will find my true love, and I have. My boyfriend, After that I was able to show Nixon the tattoo. He told me it was bad ass and how that was his favorite part of the song as well. I wasn't aware of that fact and the tattoo means so much more now. I still go to the machine shop every time they are playing there and I plan to continue. I love them all. Thank u so much for letting me tell you my story.
