The Fandom Halloween Party was great fun! So nice to see so many familiar faces and meet some new people.

I was there as Fem!lock in my suit - I even had two Castiel's stroking my hair at one point! Pic of me below so people can recognise me, took it at the end of the night so ignore the tiredness but LOOK HOW BRIGHT MY EYES LOOK YIKES CAMERA FLASH;

Great party though. There was the House cup (which we Ravenclaws won), games, some really wonderful cosplays, many MANY Night Vale references, killer attack otters (that looked like me), throwing the damn parcels everywhere instead of just passing them, making bracelets with Moriarty, Watson's ridiculous tash - and loads more stuff!

Thanks to all of the wonderful organisers for once again giving us a great party and thanks to all the wonderful people who were really nice and so much fun to hang with and eat cookies with and fall to the floor imitating Shatner with - We shall have to do this again soon :)

UPDATE, re: Saturday.

Basically I’m just really looking forward to seeing your faces okay.

We’re on the look-out for volunteers! If you would like to help us set up before the party: Please let me know asap. This is rlly rlly important as we need to know how much help we can get :)

We’re inviting everyone to bring some foodie-things to share – This can be just about anything, but please make sure it’s nut-free! We’re also after some paper plates, cups and bottles of drink (non-alcoholic please!) so if you bring any of that you’re automatically in our good books.

We’re planning to sell some cute things during the party to help raise some fandom-funds – All money goes straight back into making the FHP the best party ever :’)

We’re also still collecting songs for the playlist! If you have an idea, drop Corsair a line at consultingcorsair.tumblr.com or [email protected].

And finally: Our theme this year is Hogwarts, so you’re all going to be sorted into houses (don’t panic, you can choose your own) for our HP-themed games!

IN SUMMARY:

Date: Saturday November 16th 2013. Time: 3pm until approx. 7pm, followed by unofficial shenanigans/pub. Location: The Pirate Castle, Oval Road, Camden, London. Keep an eye out for signposts. Dress Code: Cosplay from any fandom ever is heartily encouraged, but not compulsory. Price: This year, tickets are just £5 on the door! Please remember to bring cash!
