it STUNG, just a little bit. she prided herself in usually being RIGHT. despite the words she smiles, somewhat bitterly. ❛ how ?? how am i wrong ?? ❜ claire would drift, staring a little as she replayed what they had been talking about. where did she go wrong ??
He’s stubborn, that’s his FIRST fault ( wrath and rage a close second ! ) notices the BITTER tonality as she fails tries to bury it with a smile, ❛❛ Read ‘em again … ❜❜ IT’S INSULTING to say the least, and there’s the possibility that she could throw him out of her place. Yet he’s determined as he looks her right in the eye, jaw clenches as he shifts in chair ever so ( the sound of leather DEAFENING as the world sits still for a moment ). He’s been RELUCTANT to face his fate, and the possibility of failure caused hairs on the back of neck to rise, ( HE WILL BE VICTORIOUS !!! ).
