Could Have Happened To Anybody... || Faye & Martin
Faye ran down the street urgently, pulling her friend behind her, making involuntary, stressed out and worried noises as she ran. She had only been trying to perform a simple transfiguration spell on her friend. She’d had it all planned out. She knew the spell, the motion, the counter curse, everything. Knowing that her parents would cut her off from shopping if she failed another exam, she decided to spend the day studying, a decision she rarely made. What had she done wrong? Her friend appeared to be turning into some kind of morphed creature of a few different spell results, and couldn’t respond to her. Sadly when it comes to Faye, messing up transfiguring something is never the end of it. The spell bounced off of at least ten things in her common room, breaking multiple items and scattering and knocking over more than ten items. Faye had made a lot of mistakes with magic, but this was by far the worst.
Without hesitation she sprinted down the hall, looking for someone to help her, hiding her friend from any professors she came across. After a few minutes of scurrying around, she finally came across someone she figured would be hopeful. “You,” she said running up to him. “You you are you smart? You look smart, are you?” Because of how anxious and especially antsy she was, her speaking was even higher and faster than usual.
