Jimmy didn't mean to win his village's springtime contest, he really really didn't. His brother entered him as a joke, but now he's been crowned the Summer King, and with that comes certain responsibilities. Like being the intermediary with the local fae lords, supernatural entities, and minor gods. Over the season, Jimmy will have to contend with Scott the elven diplomat, Joel the werewolf chief, Tango the minor god of ironcraft, and Fwhip the goblin clan leader. With a strange new power humming around him and an irresistible (if clumsy) charm that catches many of his new acquaintances off guard, Jimmy will have to ensure a safe and prosperous summer for his people. Their autumn harvest is counting on his ability to perform his duties as the Summer King after all. But he certainly hasn't accounted for the fact that the beings he's meant to be keeping at arms length are far more interested in courting him than keeping the peace. Will he be able to keep his footing in this strange new reality?
