pet peeve 2: phm fandom using "statement" in imperative sentences. that's not what a statement is. "go to sleep" is not a statement, it's an imperative

funny how the common fandom joke is that grace refuses to teach rocky the swears, when it's canonically the opposite:

i like it when jokes are both meta and in character. when fjord says "it's fine, i'll just sleep it off" about his poisoned wound, it's both making fun of dnd's long rest being able to cure improbable amounts of injury, and also fjord WOULD say this, because he keeps trying to seem tougher than he really is
