I remember learning about the different levels of government in grade 6 but nothing about the different political parties. I know the curriculum (for Alberta) has changed since then, and I believe there is a little more focus on politics in the high school curriculum.

Imagine all the female tributes on their period at the exact same time; some would be crying, some would be pleading to their sponsors to send chocolate, and others would actually go on a murderous rampage.

Hahaha I think being on your period in the arena might actually be an advantage, no one messes with a bitch on pms!

But the hygiene part would suck, I think that would suck period or not. Their underwear must get nasty! yuck.
