i kinda feel bad for doug ngl!!! he was probably terribly poor in what i think is the regular show version of new york but idk exactly, but i think thats where the show is set, and he takes to taking up jobs and becoming a doppelgänger of others just to feel loved and have friends or a family by BECOMING someone that they knew. and taking up the park job for him was even BETTER because he was finally able to have decent pay, shelter (because you’re able to live in the park in pops house) and a bed, and a good friend by turning into Rigby and hanging out with Mordecai. and then he gets caught in the end. not saying he was a good person and any of his actions were good its just,,,, he’s very interesting to me and i wanted to analyze him, along with the fact that the world is grey, not black n white, so i believe he has more depth than just being a crook
