How to strip fiber with a fiber optic stripper?
⭐Fiber Optic Structure:
●Outer Jacket The outermost protective layer of the optical cable, typically made of PVC or LSZH material, providing mechanical protection and environmental resistance.
●Strength Member Usually made of aramid yarn (Kevlar), it provides tensile strength and prevents the optical fiber from being damaged by pulling forces during installation and cabling.
●Coating A plastic protective layer directly applied to the optical fiber, commonly with a diameter of 250 μm, used to protect against moisture and reduce microbending loss.
●Cladding A glass layer surrounding the fiber core, with a standard diameter of 125 μm, enabling total internal reflection through a difference in refractive index.
●Core The central medium for optical signal transmission. In single-mode fibers, the core diameter is typically about 9 μm.
