I feel very blessed to be a stay-at-home mom where I can wear what I want and set my own schedule. It's #MarchMeetTheMaker ❓ Day 3: How You Started? ....................................... ➰ My grandmother definitely planted the seed with my love for yarn, and knitting and crochet which is why it's so near & dear to my heart! I wish I had pictures from when I first learned how to knit, but she taught me when I was about 10 years old. 📷 Photo 1: One of my first knitting projects, and the vintage bag my Grandma Jean gave me to keep it all in. (I'm so happy I still have it!). • It was later in 2009 that I began to pick up the knitting bug again, and then in 2010 on a trip to California to visit my family, my Mom & Grandma taught me to crochet. 📷 Photo 2: My Grandma Jean & I crocheting. 🚼In 2013 when I found out I was pregnant with our daughter, I really started to knit & crochet more often (thanks, nesting!).
