#Fibroworrior #Repost @laurahadleyx (with @report.for.insta) ... Emotional post alert 🙊 I’ve been using a wheelchair for several years now and have had so many looks from strangers, people staring at my feet to see whether I could move them and even the odd comment about how I’m too young to have chronic illnesses. People have told me to exercise more and it will help fix my conditions. Change my diet and it will fix my conditions. What people don’t do is use kindness and think a bit before they speak. They don’t ask what your conditions entail, how they can help make things easier for you or take a minute to see how critical comments can really effect your mental health too. Seeing this @barbie today made me realise how inspirational it is to have a doll that represents wheelchair users. How it is normal to use mobility aids. That you can be cute and disabled. If I had needed to use a wheelchair when I was a little girl I would have cried my eyes out after seeing this. Thank you @mattel for bringing out barbies with disabilities 💖 #barbie #mattel #wheelchairbarbie #disability #ableismexists #invisibleillness #spoonie #wheelchairlife #personswithdisablities #notalldisabilitiesarevisable #cuteanddisabled #disabledlife #disabledandcute #disabledandproud #ehlersdanlossyndrome #fibromyalgia https://www.instagram.com/p/B1FWe4vHaOp/?igshid=1rhytxjkkiffk
