Hi ! I hope you’re doing well ! So I’ve been looking for a Drarry fic for ages and it seems like people send these kinds of asks to you, so I thought I’d give it a try :)
Here’s what I remember : they’re at Hogwarts (maybe 8 year ?) Harry disappears (as in, he’s invisible. He can see and hear everyone else but he’s invisible). Draco works with at least Hermione and a teacher (McGo ?) to try to find him, and I do know it ends like this : Harry’s shoes stayed while he disappeared, and it’s the thing that make Draco understand what happened and where he went. I think there’s a book involved (I have an image of Draco standing where Harry’s shoes are with a book/in front of a book so as to, literally, put himself in his shoes and the whole thing dawning on him). I’m pretty sure Draco heard Harry a few times while he was speaking to him, though no one can see, hear of feel Harry. (The usual « no one hears A until they scream something full of emotions and B gets a whisper of it. And then B dismisses it as their imagination. »). There might have been time turners involved ? Or maybe a deadline, like Harry slowly disappearing for real or a limit to how long they can keep the secret that they don’t know where he is. Or both.
I’ve been searching for so long I’m starting to think I might’ve dreamt it. I looked on fanfiction.net and ao3, tried google searches… Also, it might’ve been in french. I can’t remember the language oops (I remember it in English but since I read in both languages I sometimes mix it up)
If anyone has an idea of what this fic might be, please say it !!
