thinking about tomura and aizawa focused fic concepts again..... i just think they have the potential to be so juicy, especially if kurogiri is involved!!

i want something with like... an aizawa who's furious at shigaraki, holding a hate for him that's personal, because he views him as one of the people responsible for kurogiri's situation. when he looks at kurogiri, he sees kurogiri as someone who shirakumo's been forced into being, without any choice or agency, and to be honest he's completely correct in that! ...except he doesn't consider the possibility that any part of the care shirakumo holds for shigaraki is genuine, or rather, he doesn't see it as something that can be in any way good.

it's not like the prospect that shirakumo might care about tomura genuinely is unthinkable to him. after all, caring has always been his nature. ...but aizawa just can't help but see it as only something shirakumo's been forced into; that innate desire to save having been directed towards the wrong person. it's all artificial. and maybe some part of him feels that if he could just set shirakumo free, there'd be nothing left to tie him to shigaraki anymore... but he hasn't considered the possibility that even if he were to become free, it might not be that simple. maybe shirakumo wouldn't want to let tomura go.

now i don't know if any of that's in-character lmao, i think the concept is just super appealing. whether shirakumo's attachment to shigaraki is fair to him or not considering how it came about is a question on it's own, but... idk, i like to see it as a part of oboro's nature shining through myself, and i think there was genuine care there in the end! in general i think it'd be fun to explore just the concept of shirakumo's experiences of kurogiri having changed him and his worldview too - he's not the same kid he used to be anymore, even if he's very unsure of himself and still figuring out what it is he really wants and believes...

this is all a bit ramble-y lmao, but the main point is. a fic scenario focused on aizawa vs tomura with aizawa at first seeing him as just an enemy keeping shirakumo hostage, but then slowly coming to understand tomura, and how he's not actually the one his anger should be directed at here............ i would enjoy that i think.

today i think about toshiro + eri and how an actual conversation about the metaverse / a metaverse reveal COULD end up going down......... mostly for fic ideas since i'd love to write something for it, but.

firstly, i'm trying to sort out my thoughts on how i think eri would react and if she'd believe him. at first i could see her thinking he's joking or worrying for his mental health, but also finding his story too specific and almost too crazy to be entirely imagined - plus, she wants to believe in toshiro just because it's him telling her. i think it'd be interesting if she wanted to believe him but had trouble wrapping her head around the implications/maybe feeling guilty about having any doubts at all??

sort of like... she's worried that if he's telling the truth and she doesn't believe him, that'd be hurtful to him or hard on him in some way. but if he is in some way mistaken about what happened, her encouraging his perception might make things worse for him, too?? although... i need to take into account her personality specifically here - i'm not sure if she'd be as skeptical as some others might (understandably) be, though i'm not 100% decided on that.

the other question is how i'd want to write a fic about it - would it be more fun to have him spill everything to her (maybe on accident) at first, and she's having to process it then and there, OR maybe a scenario where she overhears something/gets some possibly misleading or incomplete information out of context and starts her own investigation............ idk. both ideas sound fun to me. i wanna figure out what her feelings would be on his experience once she actually knows it's true/when they've got past the "hard to believe" stage, but for that i need to work on my eri headcanons in general i think first.................. which is ALSO something i really want to do atm!! like what her journey and life was like after the accident, how she caught up to him, etc.

i want to write a fic with like... erasercloud and mina as the main focus. probably ecloud focusing on kurogiri and aizawa specifically.

i don't know if it'd be fun to play into mina's love of romance somehow, and/or have some kind of quirk related nonsense trigger the plot... (i do love a good quirk accident trope tbh!) - something more serious in tone would be nice though, i think. i like the idea of mina finding out kurogiri's identity and not knowing wtf to do about it, or her meeting an amnesiac kurogiri (looking like oboro maybe??) and talking to him without knowing who he is...

i don't have any concrete enough ideas to actually start working on something though. if anyone has anything they'd particularly like to see / read about i am all ears, however.........

for ages i've wanted to write a fic (forget the fact that this never happens for a moment) about like. mha characters in a fake world where no-one remembers quirks exist. but i can't decide who to use for this concept because there's so much potential with like, every fave i have lmao??

TODAY THOUGH I AM THINKING ABOUT IT IN ERASERMIGHT FLAVOR............. i think toshinori and aizawa would be such a fun duo for this actually. i still want to involve spinner based on the fic i read that did something very similar (if i can find it again ;w;) but, hmm... now where would i go with it...................

it's eldritch aizawa hours in my brain apparently now. fic where he's a supernatural creature without knowing it (so you know, my usual nonsense) except this time it's Horror. and once he learns the truth it starts slowly changing him in a way he does NOT want.

I WANNA WRITE SOMETHING WITH SPINNER AND AIZAWA INTERACTIONS.......... maybe a fic combined with an apocalyptic/dystopian au and time travel, so like. spinner is trying to get canon era!aizawa to remember the dystopian future, maybe??

this is unapologetically inspired by a fic i read with a similar premise (though it was like a fake world without quirks they were in instead, i think??) that also had spinner as a major player lol - I NEED TO FIND IT AGAIN i don't know where it is now, but. IT WOKE SOMETHING UP IN ME. and that something is this specific niche scenario with spinner and aizawa like I DON'T KNOW WHY I JUST LOVE IT A LOT...........
