Fanfic Request Guidelines

TLDR: I'll write any combination of the below things, for more info, read below the cut

Dos

At minimum a request should include the pairing, with gender specifications for the reader, and whether you want something SFW or NSFW. If you don't give a reader gender, I'll default to gender neutral

Include some extra details for me to use to guide myself! Include a prompt or a specific AU or details on the reader

Include songs/playlists! You don't have to by any means, but if a song or series of songs has inspired you, add that link, it'll help me write

Ask OFF anon - I will still take anon requests but if you don't ask on anon, I can DM you if I have any follow up questions

Be patient - I am a human being with a life, and even then some requests will simply take longer than others depending on inspiration and such

Don'ts

I don't write for cishet fem readers, I will write for F/F pairings, transfem readers, and readers that are AFAB but not fem (e.g., trans mascs, nonbinary, gender neutral)

Don't request nsfw fics that include minors

Don't request a specific word count - I can't make any promises of length and writing with a word specification/limit is irritating, and I am likely to refuse in this situation

Don't request the following kinks: scat, non-con, medical play, sounding, vore, necrophilia, adult x minor, incest - anything in that realm. If you have questions about a kink that isn't listed here, but you know is taboo or would usually be refused, ask

Don't randomly request fandoms you've never seen mentioned on my blog. You can ASK about fandoms, but please don't randomly dump a request for a fandom I've never heard of in my inbox

Remember: I reserve the right to not complete a request for any reason with no explanation

My Rules For Fic Requests

1. I do not write smut for underage individuals or characters. I am 23 years old currently. For me personally, it feels wrong and predatory to write about a minor in a sexual context. I am happy to write about underage characters in a non-sexual way, and I am more than willing to write fluffy/romantic moments for said characters, provided that the pairing/grouping consists entirely of minors. Which brings me to my second rule.

2. I do not write any couple that includes a minor and non-minor, whether sexual or not. I will write a friendship or a mentoring/parental relationship, for example, but if you are asking for this in a romantic context, I absolutely refuse. I will never write something that glorifies pedophilia in any way, shape, or form. I hope that is clear enough for everyone. The day I receive another request for “sinful” Peter Parker/Tony Stark smut is the day I cry in a corner and potentially stop writing fanfiction altogether.

3. I do not write mlm smut. This is not because I dislike m/m pairings or have never enjoyed fic about them. It is for the simple reason that I am female, I have never experienced mlm sex, and I have no desire to fetishize gay men, which I worry I might do unintentionally. I am more than happy to write fluff/angst, though.

4. I reserve the right not to write any of my NOTPs. I understand that you may not know a certain pairing is a NOTP for me, and I will always be nice in turning you down if I have to. If you’re not sure, send an ask! (Seriously, I live for requests and want them so bad.)

5. Please do not get me involved in ship wars. This includes asks that request a certain pairing while verbally abusing an opposing pairing, or requests that by their very nature are putting down a ship. I don’t do the anti thing; if I don’t like a ship I take responsibility for the content I see and unfollow/block if necessary. I do not relish most of the drama on this site and do my best to be positive, so please don’t try to get me involved.

6. For my imagines involving celebrities, please don’t try to show them to said celebrities. Seriously, I’ve seen people do things like this at cons and even some official interviews, and while I can’t police it, please just don’t. It’s already a bit borderline for me to write some of the explicit things I do about celebrities; they are real, living people. I write what I write as a method of processing my feelings, and I would never want someone to have my words shoved in their face by a fan or reporter for shock value. I’m begging you.

7. I won’t write about pregnancy/childbirth/parenting. For deeply personal reasons of my own, I will not be having any children, and even the idea of pregnancy or childbirth can actually trigger panic attacks for me.

It is my intention that this post simply serve as ground rules for requests, and I hope that no one feels attacked, because I am not trying to be self-righteous, just setting personal boundaries.
