Okay so I just finished the first chapter of Ruby, Ruby (I loved it btw) and I just wanted to say I’m so glad that you’re keeping Nancy in the story! Like I’ve seen so many Steve fics that erase her plot more or less completely and I’ just very happy you’re keeping her involved :)

thank you so much!! honestly i love nancy as a character and i know that there are some parts where ruby sort of takes the spotlight (and kind of takes it away from nance…… namely the party and talking to jonathan in episode two) (i think it’s episode two) (when the brat pack n nance n barb are all talking about jonathan) (anyway) but like the only time that happens is bc in my mind i’m like,,,, well this is ruby’s story she’s the main character, she’s going to do this. but like overall nancy’s still going to be important, you know?? and im vvvv glad that youre happy she’s still being involved!! if anything nancy and ruby compliment each other

hey! i was just wondering how you think ruby might get alone with my stranger things oc, raegan?

she’s a byers, right? so like ruby would probably know her bc her sister lisa used to be best friends with will (like, out of everyone in the kids’ group, lisa was closest to will) and idk about raegan’s age but maybe they’ve got a couple classes together, or maybe one year they wind up being partnered up in english and having to do a project together and like they’re really the closest of friends (most people probably steer clear of ruby bc she’s friends with steve and tommy and carol) but they’d definitely get along, especially with the whole upside down stuff :-)

Ruby looooooves clothes. The only issue is, she’s super shy, so what’ll happen is that she’ll buy clothes that she loves, but then when she goes to putting them on before school, she panics and worries what her friends will say (notably Tommy and Carol) so she changes into something she knows that’s safe. But if you were to open up her closet, you’d see that she definitely has her own style, it’s just that she doesn’t have the confidence (yet) to rock up to school in a bleached-white denim jacket and white skirt to match. (She does wear a lot of turtlenecks, though… Ruby loves a good turtleneck, and she doesn’t get shit for wearing them, so.)

i know you already have ruby ruby but maybe a stranger things fic?? like with the younger group (i’m pretty sure u we’re doing that in ruby too sksks)

well ive got lisa (ruby’s little sister) but i guess we can add another one?? like ruby and lisa’s cousin who stays with them over the summer and they have to hang out with lisa and her friends

right so he’ll probably have a name like matty (im thinking of marty mcfly but like marty is a bit too weird of a name u know) and lisa makes fun of him and calls him maddy as in.... mad. like making fun of him in the way cousins do lol. so he thinks he’s too cool for their group and (this is on the basis that season 3 is based in the summer) (i think it is but u never know) he sort of personifies lisa’s worries about not fitting in and looking weird, until like halfway or something he says something to upset her and the boys basically stand up for her. then matty realises he’s sort of being a dick and turns around in the end and helps out with the upside down. idk maybe throughout the time he’s there he makes fun of will the most (which would especially annoy lisa because they’ve always been the closest) and then once he realises he’s being a dick he apologises and becomes close with will and idk maybe he embraces being nerdy and the whole idea that it’s okay to be yourself
