#fic: the bartender

Oh man, it has been forever since the last time I read The Bartender so I'm prob gonna re-read it, but I have to say I'm glad you could update and are decided to finish it, because I remember it dearly like one of my first fav fanfictions.

I’m determined to finish it. So many of my character interpretations have changed since I started writing it, so it’s been a bit tricky! haha But I want to see it through to the end. I’ve been more inspired to write for it lately.

Anyway, I’m glad you enjoy the story and it’s one that you remember from way back. I never thought it stuck out much, haha! It really made my morning waking up to this~

For those who read or have read my fic The Bartender (Eren/Levi), I just wanted to say that I’m deeply sorry for having put it into hiatus (albeit unintentionally). I’ve gotten many messages inquiring about it over the year and each time I promise that I will continue the fanfiction and bring it to a conclusion, but then I have continued to fail to deliver. 

I’d like to announce that I am actively returning to the story. There are various reasons why the story was put on hold (real life, developing more interest in other ships, changing perceptions of the characters and relationships in snk, general frustration with my writing, etc...) but I’d like to see it continued and brought to a satisfying conclusion. I’ll do my best to keep the characters as they’ve always been in the story, despite the interpretation changes I’ve had of them in canon over the last year or so. 

On a similar note, I would like to say that I miss writing fic, and would like to return to being an active writer for SnK once again (meta as well), although I will most likely branch out into many different ships and perhaps even non-romantic fanfic writing.

Anywho... for readers of The Bartender, please keep an eye out. I should have the next chapter posted soon. :)

Eren is a 21 year old student who just finished his junior year of college. He finds himself in need of a new job once his summer break begins and is taken under the wing of a popular flair bartender, Levi. He finds himself enjoying his new job more than he probably should, but his time with Levi leaves him contemplating the choices he's been making and even has him questioning how well he knows himself.

Anyway on a lighter note, for anyone who reads The Bartender, I think I'm going to produce my quickest update ever!! Almost 4000 words into the next chapter already (it's already surpassed the length of my most recent update). Just have to wrap up the chapter and proofread a few times. :) The end of the chapter is going to uh.... be unexpected though. But the following update should come quickly too. I've finally got a grip on what I want for this fic and how I want to build up to the extremely anticlimactic ending. ^_^

A/N: Time to delve into Levi and Erwin's relationship a little bit. Not a lot, but just a glimpse. And some hints about what Levi's been through.
