i don’t even know where to begin. the bite mark, the contrast in their grins, lando’s slack jawed smile like he’s already surrendered to it, oscar’s hand on his jaw, his lil fangs. it’s so them. it feels like you reached inside the fic and conjured a scene from a future chapter.

genuinely losing it. haven’t recovered and not planning to. i would absolutely commit a mild to moderate felony to see the full piece. thank you for making something this eerily perfect it means more than i can say.

you’re such a wildly talented artist, and i love everything you make. genuinely can’t believe i wrote something that inspired this, and now that i’ve seen it i feel like i need to write ten more chapters just to live up to it. you’ve jumpstarted my brain like a car battery

what if i said i genuinely have something similar currently fermenting in my gdocs.. i’ve been sitting on this vision where lando’s freshly out of a job, he’s been fund-cut and shown the door. he’s spiraling and he turns to a friend who happens to be dripping in generational wealth

the friend tries to throw money at him, but lando’s got that scrap of pride left, so the compromise is: ‘fine don't take the charity, go work for my dad.’ (the dad being oscar. shock)

Oscar’s filthy rich and miserable and currently getting absolutely liquidated in a divorce. since lando actually has that hospitality degree gathering dust, he ends up as a sort of glorified groundskeeper/live-in maid for him.

totally ethical age gap. lando’s trying so hard to be a good little professional, playing the straight-laced heterosexual guy while he tries to pretend oscar doesn’t perfectly fit the porn categories he usually goes for. and oscar the curmudgeon(lol) finds himself being pulled by lando’s charm

i deeply respect this actually. i did plan a fic off that exact anon when it first came in and i am mildly ashamed to report it has been sitting in my gdoc untouched ever since.

there's smth so specifically devious about a service top oscar who has a massive breeding kink. just him being the most attentive man on earth while insidiously plotting to ruin lando's life, and then having the audacity to hit him with the "please can we keep it?" with puppy eyes after he's already finished inside. fun stuff! what if!

i’m still figuring out the tone tbh. idk if i want it more dark and uncomfortable or more soft/co-dependent.

but i'm fully open to suggestions!

I just read your fic to the bone and I just wanted to let you know I had a genuinely religiously eye opening experience. i was wondering what to attribute the perfect thermodynamics of my pillows to recently ! It all makes sense now

but seriously, really glad to the bone hit the mark for you. it’s a bit of a tragedy that i can’t just will the rest of it into existence now and be done, because god knows i have some Things planned for it and just want to see the end product all neatly wrapped up.

i genuinely don’t mind anyone asking. i’m just flattered the interest is still there.

to the bone has been a victim of my busy schedule and some classic writerly commitment issues along with the obvious writers block. that work has such a distinct writing tone that i really have to be in the proper headspace to do it justice. but a good chunk of the next chapter is already written, so it will certainly see the light of day.

i’ll definitely be updating it at one point.

honestly when i first started writing to the bone, i thought it was going to be messy and incoherent (and take me 3 months to finish 1 chapter) but it somehow started pouring out. and that’s 100% because of the lovely comments and the lovely asks.
