When this came out Christmas two years ago, I had to try my hands at a translation, putting my useless latin skills to use and researching the words that were most definitely not latin but mostly derived from languages spoken around the Himalaya, which is pretty neat imho. In the end, this is probably not accurate, given it's in the nature of language for it to change and words to adapt new meanings. And between the emergence of latin and the inception of this hymn there are around 40.000 years give or take. But seeing this is the first time we got full sentences in High Gothic, there was no way I would not try~ [Original by Games Workshop]
Druvata Imperator dux noster; in eman sua firmissimus. Sacrificium eius illuminare fecit; Druvata nostrae puritas Nos kandu electa eius Egredere facem mahsemo. Renuntiatio eius helel; Per tenebras et pólemos. Nam qui eius ma’or. Azar mundans iacet. Hostes Imperium, Da veniam irae. Ora Imperator, praebe nobis tuam fortitudinem Ut simus tui justi khang. Omnis ut efches, Nullus furor sanctum eius effugiat. [My highly inofficial and questionable translation!] Supreme Imperator, our steadfast leader; Firm in his purpose and unshakable might. His sacrifice brought enlightenment to all; The constancy and purity of our existence, like the eternal North Star.
We the chosen ones, Advance forward, bearing the great torch of righteousness. His proclamation, like the bright morning star, illuminates; Through the depths of darkness and the chaos of war, we endure.
For he is our supreme light. The purifier of worlds stands firm. Enemies of the Empire, Grant no quarter to their wrath.
Pray, O Imperator, grant us your strength, That we may be your righteous warriors. Let all obey your will, And let no fury escape your sacred justice.
