I chopped the head off of my Ficus Ruby today. A plant enthusiast on YouTube with the handle Sheffield Made Plants insists this is the way to get your ficus to branch out beyond a single stem and I with any luck, I should be able to make a new plant from the top cutting too once it grows some roots.
