“ I will protect you. ”

Those words could be said so easily in a single breath, and could sit so heavily on Dvalinn's heart in the best of ways. So few spoke that sentiment; oftentimes under the belief she didn't need such a thing. To hear it from a dear friend, particularly Sigyn, was profoundly powerful.

The goddess' words pushed waves of relief and pride through the Hart, bringing a smile to her face. "I trust you." Dvalinn answered, rising and lifting her bow.

She waited patiently, sat on the edge of the couch. It felt like she’d been there for hours when she heard the front door open and eventually saw Sigyn walk in. Hel smiled a little sheepishly and reached out to pat the couch beside her. “Hi, Mama.” She said sweetly. “Could you come sit with me? I have something important to show you.”

“What do you mean you didn’t see Garmr on the way in?” Hel’s voice was higher than normal, already in a panic. Garmr was a loyal and somewhat sedentary guard. As unmoved within her realm as Móðguðr or Ari. If he wandered inward.. there were so many places he could hide and if he wandered out...

She shot up from her seat and all but flew out of the room. “Will you help me search for him? He’s not a wanderer. I don’t like this.” She asked as she passed Sigyn.

Loki's tone was traitorous to naught; a swift, articulate greeting that utterly lacked predominant feeling aside from a twinging thread of impatience. She could not know all that he stored in his cognizance of those other than his that claimed the name of Sigyn and title of constancy. He had purged his expectation off receiving any empathy or compassion from them, and therefore met them with unaffected apathy. A facade that would absorb any cruelties they formulated. "What is your business with me?"
