Inside the Life of FIDM Student & Influencer, Kid Koji
Social Media Influencer and FIDM Student, Koji, took over FIDMâs Instagram story to show a day in the life of a FIDM Social Media student. With his on point looks and creative eye, seeing how he does it is exactly what we wanted to see.
Koji has already built a name for himself on his Instagram platform with over 40 k followers and sponsorships. Since he is already a social media influencer, he is putting the information he learns in his classes to test in real life time and is already seeing results.Â

Trend forecasting is a great tool to use in both your personal and professional life, and it is even a subject taught here at FIDM. These sites will provide you with the newest trends in fashion, business, technology and more.Â
1. WGSN on Tumblr
WGSN is known world wide for its trend forecasting services and website. FIDM Students have the luxury of gaining access to WGSN.com's services through the FIDM Library, but WGSN's Tumblr is the next best thing. Their Tumblr consists of a wide variety of images that are either reposted or curated from their own forecasts. WGSN's Tumblr page is visually entertaining and informational as well. You can even view their archives in categories such as womenswear, menswear, fashion week and trade shows. Follow WGSN on Tumblr for some great trend forecasting images. www.wgsn.tumblr.com
2. Trend Hunter
Trend Hunter is a great and easy site to use when researching trends. Different categories are highlighted on the website including fashion, design, business, gifts and TV. Each of the categories is full of the latest trends seen around the world. Trends are laid out in a list format with correlating images for ease of navigation. Trend Hunter does a great job of keeping the posts interesting and eye catching; they even have a category named "Bizarre". Go to www.trendhunter.com for an endless array of trend forecasts.
3. NOTCOT
NOTCOT is a trend forecasting site that includes trends from culture, culinary arts, business and art. Their website is set up in a photo grid arrangement which is easy to go through and read the articles. NOTCOT also features different aspects of their site with separate pages such as NOTCOUTURE, TASTEOLOGIE and NOTVENTURES. On the top right corner of the site, you can press the "random" feature to receive a random trend forecast on the page. Go to www.NOTCOT.org for interesting trend forecasts.
4. PSFK
PSFK offers the newest trends in advertising, design, retail, art, technology and travel. Their homepage is set up in a blog style and it's easy to scroll through the posted articles. You can scroll through images, videos and articles on their page and view the latest trend forecasts for free. Each post includes interesting imagery and taglines summarizing the article's contents. Go to www.PSFK.com to view the newest developments in trend forecasting.
