we had this discussion after work the other day and got a resounding yes from the participants, who were all archaeologists, so my survey is very biased. here to ask some normal people.

managing the excavation and students alone for a few hours and already a kid has fallen against the station and forced us to restation only like half an hour after the first time and that took like 45mins because our fix points are shitass terrible no good keep fucking sliding around through the mud. and we had to do it again. and the designated station student also cannot use a pc to save his life. like typing numbers in a program is too much. and also im hungry and tired and overstimulated AND I WAS STILL NICE AND CALM. did i mention one of the other students tried to beeak up the soil in the wet sieve with a fucking machete. and scissors. cutting trough artifacts?? nobody has suffered like i have.

hello my darling dirtlings i am happy to report that my field work this year has resulted in an Official Ranking of trowel shapes. feel free to discuss.
i love archaeo field work i can get my daily walkies (survey work), enrichment (digging and finding bones), social time (playing in the dirt with my friends :3) and this is all sounding very puppy based i realise. last night i went on a rant of how i would rather be a werewolf than a vampire and a lot of my collegues disagreed with me. babes you're already werewolves your tails start wagging when you smell buried treasures? be real with me. play in this space with me. awoo.....
