I am in love with these Field Notes Brand notebooks! They are slim, lightweight, and fit right in my back pocket. Even after only a few days it is an amazing replacement to just dropping random notes in my phone that I’ll forget about in an hour. I’d highly recommend these!

Field Notes seems to be a regular in many of these traditional lifestyle photos, need to explore more brands, designs, styles, typography. A deep dive into the past will do. The footer of their website is the raw texture of the cover of their kraft-cover notebooks. Interesting how they called their “Blog” page as “Dispatches”. There are so many small memo notebooks that are easy to grab and go as a small journal for any adventure. Fits in your pocket well and you are good to go! I’ve never owned a Field Notes notebook, but I’ve got plenty of similar notebooks when I grew up - my snack list when I went to the nearby mama shop, my friends’ home telephone numbers, tic-tac-toe, it served well as a mini hand-written “mobile phone” for me. There are plenty of designs around, especially the older ones that were professionally sorted, scanned in, clipped and coded in the link below.
