{Book Review} The Book and the Blade is a heartwarming & darkly funny read featuring a man who happens to see ghosts all around York, while being drunk. It’s in parts a self-reflective read of early years in life and the dead-ends of not seeking ways to improve or move on. Since we get to meet many ghosts, the cast is wonderfully dynamic & it never once stopped from being an entertaining read! This book is the first installment of a new series (out now from Parliament House Press) so I am really curious what will come next in the Arthur Crazy series!

Necesitáis esta historia en vuestras vidas pero aun no lo sabéis 🤭 Magias varias, dioses, enemies to lovers y un retelling de la pastora de ocas muy original. Me ha enamorado!!! Y ese final que, aunque cerrado, te deja deseando seguir leyendo las aventuras de Vanja y Emeric. Lo necesitáis!!! ★ How many books will you have read in February? Which were your favorites? Happy Monday all! It was a slower reading month compared to January for me—but looks like I’ll still end the month with 21-22 books! I started The Roughest Draft (which I am loving) a bit ago, and hope to make it my last read of the month. My favorites of the month have been: Deadly Dreams, House of Earth and Blood (reread), House of Sky and Breath, Wicked Beauty (eARC), and Lore Olympus (I am into the second season now!). I think The Roughest Draft is going to land on that list too. Speaking of favorite books—unsigned editions of @illumicrate’s Madeline Miller set are still available for purchase! These sets are some of the prettiest I’ve seen, with: Gold foiled covers, quotes on the spine, bound-in author letters, and a slipcase featuring matching gold foil designs to all three sides.
