There's a black-tailed jackrabbit that I think has a form she returns to in a log beside the house. I think it is a 'she' because female jackrabbits are slightly larger (she's huge) and tend to be less nomadic, but that's not conclusive at all.

I really like them. They're not as cute as rabbits, but are kind of eerie-looking and beautiful in their own way. And their bodies are so interesting to draw, like part rabbit, part kangaroo and part deer.
