Roquenians proudly present their dance presentations and talents in the crowd
Roquenians exhibit their marvelous dance presentation for the field demonstration held at Talamban Cebu, Philippines.
San Roque College de Cebu celebrates an annual family day in D’Family park located in Talamban Cebu on February 12, 2018, Sunday. The activity started with a mass, Zumba, intermission from the Dance Troupe members, field demonstration, the repeat performance of the winners of the Talents Quest and Bingo.
The real highlight of the family day is the Field Demonstration. Every year level must present a dance using the recommended props to be used which (for this year) is an umbrella. Each level presented an astonishing dance with a unique taste of concept. It looks like a season festivity due to the colorful surroundings, props and lots of stalls with a variety of products and goods displayed. Also, the countless number of people who attended the activity is surreal!
Each grade level in the department competes for other grades (from grades seven to twelve) by means, there will be six contenders just in the High School Department. The winner will be exempted from the P.E Quarterly Assessment and it will be announced during the General Assembly, Wednesday.
Winners during the Talents Quest are the following:
Singing Contest: Shane Park
Hip Hop: Beaxts
Acoustic Band: Rudolph and the Reindeers
Full Band: Sitio Orchids
This showcases that every Roquenian has the talent to show off to everyone and they continue to improve themselves through practices and joining contests within the school to share their gifts and to become a better individual. The school does not limit the child’s capability, instead, they push them from their comfort zone to know more about the world beyond their knowing.
