Eddia ~ Feelings left hidden
The words cut deep into her and she tried hard to hide the hurt on her face. Part of her wanted to scream and yell at him, call him every name under the sun that she could think of and storm out of here. Mia couldn’t do that though, she stood there frozen, unable to even walk away. Was he still lying or did she really mean nothing to him? Maybe she was wrong after all and the kiss meant nothing at all to Eddie. Why would he want to be with her anyway? Someone as kind and loving as Eddie wouldn’t want to be with a bitch like her. She didn’t deserve him.
"Fine… " was all she managed to murmur out, looking down at her feet. Where was the confident little Rinaldi now?
…Gone.
He knew what he had said was wrong. The light leaving her eyes was indication enough of that and he cursed himself, wishing he could take it all back. Her expression, it cut him up inside, he just wanted to reach out and hold her, comfort her. Telling her it was all a lie, but some part of him held back. Some stupid little voice in his head demanding he keep quiet or else he would ruin things even more, which he didn't see as possible.
"I didn't mean to hurt you Mia. Please..if nothing else, believe that."
