I love peter capaldi, but you, you LOVE peter capaldi.... how come?
...well, I started out hating him - his replacing Matt and basically calling Clara fat four episodes in didn't exactly win me over - and continued to hate him for the past twelve years (and no, that's not an exaggeration).
Then when I was in a very dark place this past March and went looking for anything that could get me out of my head, I ended up watching his final series cause that was the only one I remembered tolerating hm in and his final smile - the one just before he goes into the TARDIS to regenerate where his dimples and teeth are showing - pulled me out of my head and away from the darkness.
Tldr; it's extremely hard to hate somebody after they save you from yourself. 🩶💍
