Squish have dropped!

As an FYI: Some of these have a little stray dust/water on them (ie: Northern Lights and Magics ear in the photos posted). They’re fine otherwise, just a few are softer and grabbed every ounce of dust in my studio.

As always you’re all wonderful and I hope this was worth the wait! Rest assurded more will be coming soon :)

So here's a little preview with my long color monologue:

A lot of transparent/metallic/gem goodness this time. I love playing with metallics and unpigmented silicone as my previous batches show. Bun and Fig in the last pic are Rose Quartz and Serenity each mixed with a interference gold for a bit more visual interest. For those unaware, they're Pantones Color(s) of the year, which despite the gimmicky nature of I follow every year. Rose Quartz Fig has some issues (prominent mold seam and weird gashes I can't explain) so she'll be at a discount.

Next batch will include a few resin guys as a test run. I'll be posting more about those as the time comes! And thank you all for the love since I returned! I've certainly missed the community here and I hope you all enjoy this batch <3

Unfortunately due to a personal emergency I'm not going to be able to drop the next batch of squishies tomorrow. However I will be dropping them at noon EST on Sunday instead. I'm so sorry for the short notice!

Same excuses still stand: mostly moving. Moving sucks. But in good news I have managed to get a drop date for all those waiting for some transparent squishy goodness. (also expect more candy)

I figured it would be nice to do a weekend drop for those of you otherwise occupied during the week. Expect lots more Fig cats this go around.

As always you’re all wonderful for being patient while my life is (literally) in boxes. Expect some more previews of the drop this week!

I’ve dabbled with a few translucent techniques before, but this batch I decided to just go full force.

The buns are experiments with the mold. I realized because of the way the ears overhang, pouring unpigmented silicone in first allows it to pool there. In a way that allows them to almost be split! It’s not a completely clean split, but it’s as close as I think I can reasonably get at this stage with such a tiny mold.

Also Pank Bun is a color correction nightmare, I cannot capture the pure Pank.

Fig Cat was a happy accident that really allowed me to understand marbling. It’s still a touch and go process with me, I’m still learning the pigment weights and how things affect one another. But I’m getting to a point I can more reliably replicate this kind of marble. The colors of this one are based on Twyla from Monster High, because she has such a beautiful color scheme (and shoes, and everything).

These ones will be for sale in the next batch, which I’m tentatively scheduling for next weekend. More details to come as always!

Meet the Fig Cat.

I hear you asking, random person I’ve invented to transition into the next topic, why on earth would you choose to base it off a fig? That seems like such a random fruit!

Well, you see. This is a personal sculpt for me. Because it’s named after my cat. Whose named Fig.

Please allow me to show you my cat.

Ahem, that aside. I also wanted a more vertical mold to play more with gradients and rainbows. So expect more of those, or at the very least some experiments.
