I got this little plant for free because it was half dead. It had exactly 3 leaves for the first 2 and a half years i had it, and it would attempt growing a bud every so often, but the bud would just die.
After three failed buds, the fourth took off and turned quickly into 7 new leaves, then more and more. The plant had been focusing on growing its roots, and once those were strong enough, the leaves followed.
Sometimes our growth isn't obvious, even to ourselves. Sometimes growth looks like failure, but be patient with yourself. Because once you're really ready and have your strong, quiet, invisible growth inside and underneath you - you're gonna surprise everyone, yourself included.
