Fig getting to build a blanket tent and have a nap this session was so healing. Yes green guy, relax for once!
dnd brainrot except now you're drawing your guy and his half canonical adopted sister from an alternate timeline who started off as a joke npc to annoy your friends but somehow became the sweetest most lovable girl in existence
(she's a sorcerer and her brother's a wizard and they go on little adventures together 😭💔)
Did u do a fig aestethic ?
|| figgriffin boldeborte aesthetic ||
send any other character requests in my askbox!
what’s your character in dnd? i’ve always wanted to play when i found out about it through the stinky dragon pod, but i don’t have any friends who are interested in it 😭😭
OOOOH YOU'RE ASKING ABOUT MY LITTLE GUYS???
I'm currently playing in two campaigns (one we lovingly refer to as "Duck Game" that was initially a oneshot, another that's an in person playthrough of Waterdeep Dragon Heist)
I could ramble for HOURS about my characters (especially my bard from the in person campaign), so I'm just going to talk about ONE of them right now, and that little guy is going to be...
✨ Figgriffin Boldeborte ✨
Fig is a half orc warlock, and the character I've been playing in Duck Game. He's a total mama's boy (which did NOT backfire at ALL and was NOT used against him in ANY way EVERYTHING IS FINE) who grew up in a traveling trading caravan. His mother was a super talented weaver / seamstress, and he ended up learning a lot of her craft from her. One day, his mother ended up meeting a mysterious man in the forest, who traveled with them for a few years, becoming incredibly close with her and teaching Fig a thing or two about magic. Eventually, the average guy reveals himself to be a NOT so average guy, an ArchFey named Vaellus. He also revealed that at some point while he was teaching Fig magic, he'd roped him into a contract, making Vaellus Fig's patron and the source of his power. Fig's mother and Vaellus moved to the Feywild, and Fig continued traveling with the caravan for a while, before deciding to seek adventure on his own.
In the actual campaign, Fig ended up in prison, meeting a group of adventurers who all got roped into participating in a series of trials for the entertainment of the Princess of the Trickery Court and its citizens. A giant duck was fought, a game show was won, and an incredible amount of trauma was accumulated by the party.
Another little fun fact: Because of Fig's proficiency with weaving, I've picked up bracelet making as a hobby. It's really relaxing, fun, and honestly makes me feel like I understand him more. I might just make one for my mom. Full method acting.
Bonus: the Fig sticker I just uploaded to our discord server, titled "live fig reaction"
i actually need the duck game fandom to STOP shipping fig and the princess because it's so toxic omg
love drawing my silly little half orc warlock but in a reality where he's actually a wizard and he doesn't have daddy issues and-
(note to self: don't make aus of your dnd campaign. they will rot your brain and also become canon.)
dnd tomorrow. time to marinate my brain by listening to an egregious amount of fallout boy.
if loki was really evil then WHY would boog let fig keep trusting him? she's obviously trying to push him in the right direction and make him have a good relationship with his stepdad. since the beginning of duck game fig's problem has been that he has a weird relationship with vaellus and needs to make it better. because vaellus was trying to be a good parent to fig. he literally saved everyone from the truewild and also gave them all gifts after the trials. he made sure fig went to the astral plane with his friends so they'd be safe.
it's so sad to see the princess stand in the way of a super wholesome father / son relationship because of her own personal vendetta.
