By now, it was safe to say that François was an expert in Legion-isms. Or perhaps not, entirely - but he wasn't the newest anymore and that was close enough to being an expert. In the previous months he had come to understand the precariousness of the Legion itself, and that made him more of an expert than the newly arrived. And in turn, such status gave him the right to finally - finally - be the welcoming committee that the mansion deserved.
What better way was there to greet people than appearing in front of them out of thin air with no warnings? To him, it seemed a reasonable introduction to the quirks living here would have to offer. It was downright entertaining too, to take people by surprise. Powers of his nature, teleportation being among the most amusing, were powers wasted if you didn't make use of them in such a fashion.
And so he found himself, popping abruptly into the space before the newest of the new, a leisurely smile plastered on his features and head tilted. "Welcome!" François greeted, a cheerful lilt to his voice. If nothing else, should his antics be poorly received, the anticipated look of surprise was enough entertainment for this to be worth it.
