Fight / master-cifer
Hidehiro opened his eyes, feeling all groggy. He was certain someone had tried to rise him from the futon but when he scanned the room there was no one beside him.
Aruptly he sat up, the tight squeeze on his chest imminent when he finally realized that the bed was empty. Had Ulquiorra woken up, already prepared to leave the house and take the children with him, to leave Hidehiro alone for good?
As he moved his eyes catched the tray of food, placed neatly next to the futon. It confused him even more and he did not know what to think of anymore. Breakfast in bed was a rarity as it was him who cooked in this household.
The gesture kept giving him mixed signals; his pessimistic side was telling him this was some kind of a form to say goodbye, his optimistic side was hinting him that this could be a sign of forginess.
Never to deny his spouse’s effords Hidehiro simply smiled a little hoping he was drawing the right conclusions and he slowly ate the toast and eggs. They were slightly burned, but it did not matter. It had been made by the man he loved.
The man he loved. Those words that rang inside his head brought the picture of another man to his mind; a man with brown unruly hair, hazel eyes and a permanent scrowl on their features. It brought a memory from the night before, the image of a familiar figure he knew from his past.
Hidehiro’s hands stalled and the toast fell on the futon. His heart ached again, he felt disgraced from even thinking about someone else than his own spouse. How could that man from the past take his mind when he had more impostant things to even think about, such as saving his marriage.
He needed to know. He needed to find out if that man was a reborn Takao, and if the man had found a life that was far more better than it had been in Soul Society. If he could settle that one part, his past…only then he could have a clean start with Ulquiorra.
But he knew that while he tried to sort out this all, Ulquiorra could withdrawn himself further away, and then…it all would end.
Shaking his head the former noble decided that no matter what he would need to do everything in his power to still kep what was left for him here. He had a family, at least he assumed so. He had a man that he adored more than life itself, a person he would gladly give his life for, children he adore and even a job as a florist so he could fullfill the need to provide for them all.
So confusing.
Taking the toadt in his handa again Hidehiro ate, fast and in hurry, with the dire need to see if he still had anything to fight for.
