There are so many words to describe this experience. Wish I had more time in this there. This place shows only a fraction of how strong and powerful black people are and can be. We will continue to fight for what’s right and equal. Sadly we are still battling many of the issues that the ones before us were trying to change. Russell Campbell, a #1964Initiate of the #GammaPi Chapter (#BenedictCollege - #ColumbiaSC). It was great to run into another brother made in the #SouthCarolina #District! Bro. Campbell, a native of #Detroit shared with us a few stories of his involvement in the #CivilRightsMovement and how #DrMartinLutherKingJr. inspired him to get invloved. He also encouraged us to get involved with the ongoing fight for #BlackRights and #Equality in #America. He told us that it is our time because many from his #Generation have entered eternity and we must continue what was started many years ago, as well as teach the future generations the importance of carrying the torch. He even told us how he met #ColonelSanders before there was a #KFC. Bro. Campbell's talk was absolutely amazing, empowering, and enlightening.
