the biggest rivalry in the nhl today isn’t the leafs vs the bolts, or the habs vs the bruins or even the flames vs the oilers. it’s actually the core 4, knies, rielly and woll against the other 13 leafs

We gladiate but I guess we're really fighting ourselves
Glory and Gore
Why do we fall
Today I listen to a song from batman dark knight rises. The part where Alfred asks him "why do we fall" and the answer is to pick ourselves up but it had me thinking...why do we fall or go through difficult time....and I think it's because we forget who we are....we forget that we are the most important thing in our lives. That we matter just as much as the next person in the universe. How we are all equally important no matter what.....I think we forget and let our darker selves say other wise....we need to remind ourselves how special we are. That we are limited edition that we can never be replaced because there is only one us. We should stand proud for who we are and the dark times are there to remind us who we are as a person not to test us not to get us down but to remind us who we are and how we need to fight the darkness in us everyday because we are our own worst enemy and we need to be remind just what we can do. Because we are special and always will be. That's why we fall so we can be reminded of who we are....
For years, Americans have been fighting for their rights - from civil rights all the way to gay rights. These rights, eventually, get passed, but everyone decides to abuse them. Crazy thing is, we've even fought each other over these conflicts! After all these years, you would think that everyone would come to notice that violence is never the answer to any problem. For America to be actually be called the United States, we have to stop fighting against our own and start acting UNITED. We are not untied. We have divided the American population into various "groups" based on sex, nationality, religion, disabilities, and school records. Because, it's obvious that those are the only things that matter - that is WRONG. If you want a country to remain "united", we have to stop the discrimination/division between each other. None of those things should effect anyone and what their future turns out to be. For years, people have come to America to start a new life; to live the American dream and be a true American. How do we expect "New" Americans to learn our definition of right and wrong if we can't even act them out ourselves? As a result of all of this we have "misguided" individuals taking matters into their own hands and taking lives. It's crazy that someone would have the idea of killing others and think it's "no big deal". If the thought of taking someone else's life even crosses your mind, remove your head out of your anus and seek help, not violence. American should really think over trying to solve problems in other countries, we start trying to solve the constant war we have in America against ourselves. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO THOSE EFFECTED IN BOSTON.
Why must we fight ourselves?....
