Unlike doing research on weponry , volume/ mass or psi of something, searching of Wesker’s fighting style was MUCH easier! I just needed to find key elements of some of his attacks. Fortunately for me those elements were easy to find.
His fighting style is of various animal kung fu! 1. The Crane Albert as those weird spinning kicks he can do from time to time. However, i’ve been able to match those kicks perfectly.
That means that Wesker’s fighting style is focused on grace, balance and , most importantly, evasion.
2. The Snake
Looking closely at Wesker’s hand while doing his infamous strike, there is no doubt that it’s highly similar to the snake hand stand.
This means that if we take Wesker at base value without virus enhancements, he’d be able to his strike at around 13.78 feet per second with is faster than an albino rattle snake at 13.12 feet per second. ( Based on Li Jing’s performance on the second gif).
But out of all of them, there is ONE that is both undeniable and fits his character to a tee.
3. The Tiger
Again, his hand matches up to the technique. But this makes him even more fearsome than he was before !
You see, where i’ve taken my info, an unmutated Wesker with this technique would be still incredibly powerful! Namely , the man underneath him was tested against a (playful) tiger and his strike was at 2600 pounds of force. Which was higher the playful tiger strike at 1400 pounds of force. That’s not all tough! In the same episode, this is what that as been able to do to a balistics gel head :
Scary wright? But this style is actually scary accurate to Wesker as well! From growling at each strike, the style being described as “swift, strong and merciless “ and being about mostly about offence and dominance, not only do we find one of Wesker’s fighting styles but what is at the core of his charcter.
Side note : Most Tiger Claw Fighters hardens their fingertips but striking an hard object repeatily to harden their bones to make is as “sharp” as claws.
