It was trying to rub its face on her, but it failed to walk straight into her. How freaking adorable. Lowering her hands. she gently picked up the baby and cradled her in her arms. It gently purred while rubbing her nose on her arm. Jirou wasn’t open about her tendency to like cute things, but she was free to express her love when she was alone.

Yuichiro was a only a boy when the earliest parts of the Jenova Project began. Before the G and S branches of that project were started, Shinra conducted initial trials simply to understand whether humans could even survive injection with her cells. As it turned out, anyone over the age of eight died within minutes, and the bodies were discarded as the project turned towards infantile subjects.

As it turned out, Yuichiro actually lived through the process. In fact, his cells bonded to Jenova’s in a highly unique way, possibly because he had not been first enhanced by Mako - while it allowed people to survive with fair reliability, it might also prevent full acceptance of Jenova’s cells.

Because of this powerful bond, Yuichiro was able to manifest weapons of his own body, and could massively increase his strength while using them. As time passed, he became more and more powerful. Soon, he grew to hate Shinra for how they had experimented upon him. Yuichiro hunted Shinra personnel almost constantly, but only individually or in small groups; he didn’t have the sill to fight them in large numbers. Until SOLDIER First Class Genesis defected from Shinra. 

Gensis and Yuichiro met and bonded over their mutual hatred for Shinra. Genesis was only happy to train a pupil of his own. Yuichiro was wary of Genesis’s degradation, but he couldn’t pass on the chance to learn from one of the world’s best swordsmen. 

However, during a raid by Gensis’s forces agaisnt Shinra personnel, Yuichiro was badly injured, and even though he healed, his body began to degrade just like his teacher’s. He began going insane far faster than either Genesis or Angeal, and soon died.

Unlike Genesis or Angeal, however, Yuichiro died from his body’s degradation, rather than being killed - making him the only person to actually die that way. As it turned out, Yuichiro’s Jenova-bonded cells refused to fully dissolve into the Lifestream, and his conciousness sruvived among them - a process similar to that of Sephiroth. Unlike Sephiroth, however, Yuichiro could not form Remnants to retrieve pure Jenova cells. Instead, he chose to focus on creating something different from the Lifestream - a Materia that could be one day be used to summon him back into the world.

seles has always turned towards femininity, mostly as a result of how she was taught growing up. although it was expected of her she also just Likes it, whether it’s herself or others

she grew up hearing about the “fate of the chosen one” and all that so she was also sorta forced into believing that. but she also kinda hates it because it means it was her “fate” to be stuck in an abbey for most of her life and that’s not the best impression fate coulda made on her

ulexite: how empathetic/sympathetic/compassionate my muse is

depending on the situation seles is able to have high levels of empathy, but she can also feel next to none. she doesn’t really feel sympathy? she’s had enough of pitying herself so she wouldn’t really pity anyone else. she is pretty compassionate though, she’ll help if people need help
