Day98: Fig Sandwiches! We love figs - especially because they're in-season around here for about a minute. This week they're BOGO at Publix and I bought 5 boxes.🙈 I was all psyched up to make Ina Garten's Fig Ricotta cake (on her insta), only to discover the recipe is not out yet! 😩 So I went searching and found a lovely list of ideas at @yummymummykitchen including this avocado-fig-cheddar grilled cheese and fig-goatcheese-walnut bruschetta at @myrecipes . We also had our first (huge!) cucumber from my minuscule garden which tasted shockingly normal/good, and one of the last peaches of the season.
