"Ouch," Logan mimed stabbing himself in the heart. "And it was half a tree. One time."
Logan came back to the farm feeling exhausted. Beside him, Natasha was feeling about the same, her paws nearly dragging across the ground as she walked alongside her Trainer and up the stairs to the house. The Houndour collapsed right in the middle of the living room. Logan pulled his shoes off dropped his bag near the door where he always left it, and headed in after her.
On his way back, he'd finally decided to talk to Filie. Not that he hadn't, but, specifically about events from the ranch in Johto. Even more specifically, the "taking charge" bit. He'd spent a fair amount of time since coming home thinking about it and avoiding it. After recent events however, he'd finally decided he just wanted to be with her. He felt stupid for sitting on it for so long.
Fingers mentally crossed that she wouldn't just get mad for leaving it all this time, he called out as he entered the house proper. "Filie?"

"Then we don't lose him," I said. "How good is your Nicodemus impersonation?"
"Then we don't lose him," Logan said simply. "How good is your Eevee impression?"
One of the little Eevees had been giving the pair trouble by running off a lot, and they were having a hard time in keeping an eye on him. Logan knew it was more complicated than that, but he couldn't help but try and make a small joke of it.

Jen was nervous walking up to the farmhouse. She'd kept Benny in his ball, best to show up just as herself, at least she guessed it was. Kind of hard to just walk up and say "hi I'm your cousin, kid from your dead dad's brother!" and it not be weird.
Still, she didn't see any other way than just walking up and doing it. Like a Band-Aid right? That in mind, she finally reached the front door and knocked.
