since i'm in this doc today, y'all are all getting pieces of this:
Marc’s not even sure, in the end, what sets him off. He just knows that things are getting a little out of hand on what should have been a routine nightime incursion, and then he’s blinking awake in the fucking on base detention block with an MP standing at precise attention just outside the door. “Hey!” Marc calls. The MP doesn’t react, doesn’t flinch, doesn’t move at all. Marc gets the impression that this is not the first time Marc has yelled at him, but he has no memory of it himself.
