Ingredients: 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless. 1/2 cup honey. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon ginger, minced. 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional. 2 tablespoons cornstarch. 2 tablespoons water. Sesame seeds, for garnish. Chopped green onions, for garnish.
Instructions: In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, and red pepper flakes if using. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and pour the honey garlic sauce over them. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until chicken is cooked through and tender. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Stir the slurry into the slow cooker, mixing well with the sauce. Continue cooking for an additional 30 minutes on high, or until the sauce has thickened. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
