Translating to “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”, is a Chinese idiom; an expression describing a place or situation filled of hidden talents or unnoticed masters. Originated from a poem of the ancient Chinese poet Yu Xin that reads “石疑藏虎，盘根似卧龙”, meaning “Behind the rock in the dark probably hides a tiger, and the coiling giant root resembles a crouching dragon.” On another level, it can denote the under currents of emotion, passion, and secret desire that lie beneath the surface of polite society and civil behaviour.

This collection serves as a personal validation for the designer’s talents and to expose “her hidden dragon” and for her audience/wearers to not only learn a fragment bit about Chinese culture, their fondness of mythology, and the designer’s roots but also to relate and notice their own hidden dragon; with (streetwear) pieces that exudes comfort, confidence, functionality and for the art.
