Filly funtasia redesigns! I’ve been watching this show ironically to fill in for the lack of mlp content. It’s pretty fun ngl but also very stupid and it’s very funny

Rose is basically the same minus a few markings I added and things I had to keep for plot relevance like the necklace

Cedric had markings changed and is the only one to keep their crown because he’s the only one with the status of “prince” (other ones don’t really use the title too much also I just like him as the only prince)

Lynn is supposed to be a witch filly and likes Halloween stuff so I redesigned her to look more edgy and Halloweenish. Her pupil is also a slit

Will is pretty much the same but I made his wings leaves because he’s a fairy filly and I think that’s a fun concept instead of bug wings. He also very trans 🏳️‍⚧️ his full canonical name is willow and only teachers use it

Bella is too much of a blank slate for me so I didn't draw her. Go girl! Give us nothing!

New 2D Filly Funtasia series titled 小马菲莉: 一起探索世界！ (''Little Filly Horse! Exploring World Together!'') was announced recently, more info soon.

Its slogan is ‘'Feili the Little Horse brings everyone together for a happy exploration''.

It features quite shining 2D vectors, right?~ Maybe at some point it'd end up on some YouTube, hmmmm...~~

This said, can’t wait to see screenshots themselves! Hyped tons!

Filly Funtasia visited Hong Kong’s toy fair in January, and they want to tell something to their fans:

-Covid-19 affected the whole brand strategy heavily in 2020-2022;

-However, they’re still working on the cartoon. Not only on episodes 27-39 (’third’ season for China, as they halve each episode for release domestically) that we’re still waiting for, but also on episodes 40-52 (’fourth’ season)!

-They’re also planning to distribute merchandise and toys of Filly Funtasia in countries other than China. They just need clients, deals and some more time.

-They hope to achieve actually fruitful results in 2023, unlike some short time ago.

The movie that I found 2 mentions in incredibly outdated (by dates) tables of plans a few years ago is still not mentioned in any way, but I’ll be hoping they’ll also work on it and it’s not cancelled. It was supposed to come out after last episodes of the show (that will be 40-52, unless they’ll want to make more!).

It’s not exactly unexpected because Vimeo channel of Clan uploaded 2 promotional videos (trailer + tv bumper) for Filly Funtasia some months ago (https://vimeo.com/505238650; https://vimeo.com/505232944), especially knowing Latin American Spanish dub of the show exists (although it was only broadcasted on La Tele Tuya in Venezuela previously - https://twitter.com/LaTeleTuya/status/1456243581715365897)

What is interesting about the brief description on Izzi, it’s statement FF would have English audio track.

Guide itself uses concept art for a poster made by Steve Peig, it’s probably why ‘Funtasia’ part of the logotype still has TM and not R: this image was made before it got any R unlike now.

What doesn’t add, though, is how the Chinese poster from iABC only has Venezuelan and Spanish flags.

They have characters or items separately on transparent backgrounds, just backgrounds, characters with backgrounds and descriptions. Each cards shows points under some categories. Some cards are shiny. Each pack comes with 8 cards, full box has 118. Likely have ranks of rare and super rare.

They can be inserted into a protector frame that stands on its own (remember photo frames? It’s the same principle).

Bella image on back of some of the cards is identical to back side of cards you can get with toy sets by JS Youpin (last image).

Characters included aren’t only fillys, it’s also animals like Bijou and Batti.
