Crossbones Graveyard & Garden of Rememberance in London, 2023

Crossbones Graveyard is the Graveyard of the Outcast Dead - among them immigrants, the ordinary working poor, infants, sex-workers. With over 15,000 people having been buried in this tiny space, and since we only know the names of a few of them, we honour and remember the dead with our wild planting style, our many shrines and community events. This is a remaining tiny sanctuary in London- run in the shadows of the surrounding towerblocks.
