A Snake in the Grass
Preview of my work for @filmposterzine, a collection of redesigned film posters. I paid tribute to The Kingmaker, a 2019 documentary about Imelda Marcos and one of the most haunting films I’ve seen. It looks into the vile abuses of the Marcos regime in the Philippines and the mythmaking employed to reframe their narratives and drown out dissent, something only too familiar today under the Duterte presidency.
