I kind of wish people wouldn’t take the confessions on filthyfateconfessions so seriously sometimes... Whenever I look at the notes there’s always someone saying ‘bad post op’ or ridiculing the confessor because they have a different opinion, even on the very tame and harmless sfw posts, and honestly? It’s really discouraging? And just kind of unnecessary.
I know it sucks when someone disagrees with you on your fav character, but people have a right to express dislike of a character, especially if it’s not creepy or violent in nature, and you don’t have to shame them on their own confession. Even if it’s anonymous, it just feels kind of cruel, because you know the person probably isn’t going to be able to defend themselves if they want to keep things anonymous.
I completely understand seeing a post you don’t agree with and just feeling bad about it, but I think there are better ways to deal with it than making other people feel bad as well.
