Sound Editing/Sync Help
hey so in protools, audacity.. finalcut... what ever... when syncing two sound sources... say just a video and a .wav room mic... and you have them perfectly synced at the start of the song... is there some known reason why the latency might change? say near the end of the song .. and they sound no longer perfectly alligned? 1. I know moving a camera around can create phase issues. but this is a tripod and unmoved room mic. 2. is it just computer rendering/processing and when I export it will be fine? 3. or my fear is that for some reason... either of the sources, recorders at a less condensed or more condensed rate than the other?_? they are both packaged differently. so is this something that is common between recording devices? or is that just something that doesn’t happen and they always record at true rate.
